The Honourable Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Area, Hon. Rayyan Hussein, has launched an ongoing initiative, donating 100 chairs to primary schools, building on a previous effort where over 300 benches have already been provided. The latest donation was formally presented at Sheikh Gumi School, Tudun Wada, Kaduna South, marking a steady push for better learning environments.

 

Project Overview

This chair donation project reflects Hon. Rayyan Hussein’s commitment to bridging educational gaps across Kaduna South’s urban and rural zones. Designed to enhance classroom comfort, support quality education, and ensure inclusivity, it aligns with the SUSTAIN agenda to uplift young minds in every ward.

 

Key Highlights:

Scope of Work: The initiative involves ongoing monthly donations, starting with 100 chairs at Sheikh Gumi School, with plans to produce an additional 100 chairs each month for six months to tackle seating shortages. 

Impact: It will benefit thousands of pupils, improving focus and access to learning, while addressing infrastructure needs across the LGA. 

Community Reception: Parents and teachers expressed deep gratitude, praising the Chairman’s focus on education as a lifeline for their children’s future.
