Uba Sani, Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, and dignitaries to flag off the completion of the abandoned Kabala Costain to Aliyu Makama link dual carriage road, a key state project now underway, connecting Kaduna North and South for smoother travel and trade.

Project Overview

The Kabala Costain to Aliyu Makama link dual carriage road project underscores Governor Uba Sani’s pledge to revive stalled infrastructure across Kaduna State’s urban zones. Aimed at easing traffic woes, boosting connectivity between LGAs, and sparking commerce, it revives a 30% completed effort, aligning with the SUSTAIN agenda to link communities like Kaduna South’s vibrant hubs.

Key Highlights:

Scope of Work: The initiative covers the remaining 70% of the dual carriageway, including drainage and pavement upgrades, with contractor mobilization underway near the Kabala Costain bridge. 

Impact: It will serve thousands, cutting travel times, easing access for markets and schools, and fueling economic ties between wards in Kaduna South and North. 

Community Reception: Residents cheered the revival, with local leaders thanking the Governor for turning years of neglect into action, calling it a lifeline for daily commuters.

Leadership and Execution

Spearheaded by Governor Uba Sani’s administration via the Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA), with N2.2 billion settling prior debts, Chairman Hon. Rayyan Hussein’s attendance reflects local backing. This ties into 78 state road projects spanning 775 km, ensuring timely progress without new burdens.
