Hon. Rayyan Hussein, the Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Council, flagged off an ongoing distribution of Ramadan food palliatives to uplift residents across the LGA, showcasing a heartfelt response to community needs during the holy season.

 

Project Overview

This palliative distribution project reflects Hon. Rayyan Hussein’s dedication to easing hardship and fostering well-being among Kaduna South’s urban and rural communities. Aimed at supporting the less privileged during Ramadan, it aligns with the SUSTAIN agenda to ensure no family goes hungry, covering wards from Tudun Wada to Makera.

Scope of Work: The initiative involves ongoing distribution of essential food items-rice, beans, sugar, millet, and spaghetti-to 2,500 beneficiaries, with plans to expand outreach based on need assessments. 

Impact: It will nourish thousands, offering relief to vulnerable households and strengthening community spirit, while easing economic strains during the fasting period. 

Community Reception: Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, with many praising the Chairman’s timely gesture as a beacon of hope, fostering unity and resilience.
