The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, today led a historic Mega Empowerment Programme, marking a major milestone in grassroots poverty alleviation and youth development as the first intervention of its scale by a local government administration in Kaduna State.

Designed to provide sustainable economic independence, the massive distribution initiative targeted women, young entrepreneurs, and community leaders across all 13 wards of Kaduna South. Beneficiaries were equipped with functional tools and assets, including direct cash grants, motorcycles, commercial sewing machines, deep freezers, and grinding machines to support small-scale businesses and household livelihoods. 

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Rayyan Hussain attributed the success of the initiative to the unity among the 23 Local Government Chairmen in Kaduna State and their shared alignment with the visionary leadership of the State Executive. 

"This milestone is built on the strong synergy enjoyed among all 23 Local Government Chairmen in Kaduna State, as we stand united in firm support of His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani CON," Hon. Rayyan Hussain stated. "Under the 'Rayyan Project for Governor Uba Sani 2027', loyalty is actively being rewarded with tangible opportunity. We remain deeply grateful to our beneficiaries and political family for their steadfastness as we work together to drive the continued progress of Kaduna South and Kaduna State."
