The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, joined market leaders, artisans, and community stakeholders as His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani CON, officially commissioned three major development projects in Old Panteka Market today: the main access road connecting Poly Road to Kaduna Central Market, a fully equipped Market Clinic, and a modern ICT Centre.

The newly asphalted access road serves as a critical economic artery, linking over 32,000 artisans in the Panteka production hub directly to the Kaduna Central Market, which accommodates more than 100,000 daily visitors. The project is designed to eliminate transit bottlenecks, lower transport costs, attract investments, and accelerate commercial activities within the multi-billion-naira industrial cluster.
Alongside the road infrastructure, Governor Uba Sani commissioned a dedicated Market Clinic to deliver accessible primary healthcare to thousands of hard-working market operators. The newly established ICT Centre is geared toward advancing digital literacy and e-commerce capabilities among artisans, aligning directly with the state government's digital transformation agenda.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Rayyan Hussain commended Governor Uba Sani for his unwavering focus on grassroots economic empowerment and infrastructure expansion.
"His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to the working people of Kaduna State," Hon. Rayyan Hussain stated. "By connecting 32,000 artisans in Panteka to over 100,000 daily customers at the Central Market, providing on-site healthcare, and introducing digital skills through the ICT Centre, the Governor is safeguarding lives and boosting local commerce. The people of Kaduna South remain firmly supportive of his transformative leadership."
