Kaduna South Partners SUBEB for Climate Action as Hon. Rayyan Hussain Plants Tree at LGEA Primary School Kinkinau

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, today attended the official flag-off ceremony for the Greening Schools and Climate Change Education Intervention held at LGEA Primary School, Kinkinau.
Delivering a goodwill message at the event, Hon. Rayyan Hussain planted a symbolic tree to mark the official launch of the climate initiative and urged school administrators to take full ownership of the trees to ensure they are protected and nurtured for the long-term benefit of the students and surrounding community.
The Chairman expressed appreciation to the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) for introducing the timely educational and environmental project to basic schools within the local government area.

Building on this state-level intervention, Hon. Rayyan Hussain announced that Kaduna South Local Government will soon launch its massive 130,000 Trees Planting Campaign and broader Climate Action Initiative to reinforce the environmental sustainability goals of the state administration.
"Protecting our environment begins with educating and empowering our children at the primary level," Hon. Rayyan Hussain stated. "In the coming days, Kaduna South will launch a comprehensive 130,000 trees planting campaign. This initiative will directly support the visionary drive of His Excellency Governor Senator Uba Sani CON toward building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Kaduna State."
