Kaduna South Chairman Reaffirms Commitment to Interfaith Harmony During Engagement with Anglican Church

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has met with representatives of the Anglican Church in Unguwan Sanusi, Kaduna, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen peaceful coexistence, promote interfaith harmony, and deepen cross-cultural relationships across Kaduna South Local Government.
The cordial engagement provided an opportunity for familiarization and reflection on the long-standing peaceful relationship between the church and the wider community. Discussions focused on the importance of sustaining mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration among residents of different faiths and cultural backgrounds.
The leadership of the church commended the peace-building initiatives of the Kaduna South Local Government administration and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the values of peace, unity, tolerance, and understanding among its members and within the wider community.
In response, the Executive Chairman assured the church of the continued support of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON, whose development agenda places strong emphasis on peaceful coexistence, inclusion, and the protection of the rights of all citizens to freely and peacefully practise their faith.
