The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has congratulated His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON on the occasion of the Governor’s third anniversary in office, describing the period as a remarkable journey of purposeful leadership, people-centred governance, and transformative development across Kaduna State.

With one year remaining in the first tenure of the administration, Hon. Rayyan Hussain noted that Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated strong commitment to improving the lives of citizens through the implementation of the SUSTAIN Agenda. According to him, the administration has brought government closer to the grassroots, strengthened public services, and restored confidence in governance through impactful interventions across key sectors.

The Chairman highlighted the significant benefits recorded in Kaduna South Local Government, particularly in healthcare, where the State Government has supported efforts through the recruitment of additional health workers, provision of modern medical equipment, renovation of healthcare facilities, establishment of the Pharmagrade Warehouse, and the strengthening of primary healthcare services. He also noted improvements in education, including the renovation of schools, reduction in tuition fees, and efforts to improve learning conditions.

According to the Chairman, the administration’s implementation of the new minimum wage across both state and local government levels, as well as strategic road projects such as the Aliyu Makama Road linking Kaduna South to Kaduna North, and other road networks connecting communities to Igabi and Chikun Local Government Areas, have contributed to improved mobility, expanded economic activities, and increased opportunities for residents.

He further commended the administration’s free rapid bus system, agricultural support programmes, free fertilizer distribution, and grants for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), noting that these initiatives have contributed significantly to improved livelihoods, economic empowerment, and human capital development across Kaduna State.
