The Education Authority of Kaduna South Local Government, led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has conducted a special awareness rally to educate the public on the importance of education and urge parents to enroll their children in school.
The awareness rally follows a directive issued by the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Mallam Uba Sani CON, to the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KAD-SUBEB), headed by Mal. Mubarak Mohammed. The Governor directed the board to inform residents across Kaduna State that public schools have been fully renovated and staffed with qualified teachers, emphasizing that basic education remains completely free.
Speaking during the rally, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rayyan Hussain, stressed that education is a fundamental right that every parent in the local government must fulfill.
"It is obligatory for every resident of Kaduna South Local Government to give their children their rightful due by enrolling them in school," Hon. Rayyan Hussain stated. "Basic education in all public primary schools is completely free of charge."
This campaign forms part of the local government's efforts to drive Governor Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN Agenda and ensure that no child in Kaduna South is left behind in accessing quality primary education.
