The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, received representatives of development partners EngenderHealth to advance technological interventions in local healthcare service delivery.

During the strategic meeting, EngenderHealth presented the Frequent Assessments and System Tools for Resilience (FASTR) platform. This web-based health data analytics framework directly complements Kaduna South’s newly deployed Hospital Management System. The FASTR platform is designed to digitize and track Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC), enhance safe delivery practices, monitor maternal mortality, track disease prevalence, and encourage pregnant women to utilize health facilities across the local government area.

As part of the technical rollout, the delegation presented a dedicated digital monitoring screen for the Executive Chairman’s office. This setup provides a real-time command dashboard to directly track health indicators and facility performance across Kaduna South.

Hon. Rayyan Hussain reaffirmed the local government's commitment to enforcing strict compliance with data entry across all public Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) and private health facilities within the council. He noted that the initiative aligns directly with the digital governance agenda of His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani CON.

"This partnership with EngenderHealth reinforces our digital roadmap and Action Plan.
