The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, joined the Director-General of the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA), Mallam Abubakar Hassan, and key community stakeholders for the historic inauguration of KADCHMA’s first-ever Local Government Area office, located at Panteka Market in Kaduna South.
Sited strategically within one of the busiest commercial centers in the local government area, the new office is designed to bring vital health insurance services directly to informal sector workers, market traders, artisans, and grassroots residents. Services now available locally include scheme enrollment, plan renewals, record updates, and prompt complaint resolution.
Speaking at the inauguration, Hon. Rayyan Hussain highlighted that the choice of Kaduna South as the pilot location reflects the council's aggressive commitment to expanding healthcare access. He attributed the success of such health interventions to the supportive leadership of His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani CON, whose overarching SUSTAIN Agenda prioritizes accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens of Kaduna State.

"This office brings primary health coverage directly to the doorsteps of our hardworking traders, artisans, and families," Hon. Rayyan Hussain stated. "I strongly encourage all market associations, trade unions, cooperative societies, and residents across Kaduna South to take full advantage of this facility and enroll in the scheme. Working closely with Governor Uba Sani CON, we will continue to ensure that no resident is denied quality healthcare due to financial constraints."
