Kaduna South Local Government Area has been officially inaugurated and fully activated within the Open Government Partnership (OGP), marking a bold stride toward transparent and inclusive governance under State Co-Chair Muktar Ahmed Monrovia, Commissioner for Planning and Budget.
This activation reflects Kaduna State’s renewed OGP commitment, signed by Governor Uba Sani, aiming to deepen citizen involvement and accountability. Designed to empower residents across Kaduna South’s wards, it aligns with the SUSTAIN agenda to foster open, responsive governance and address local priorities like health and education.

Scope: The OGP Local Government Steering Committee, blending government and civil society, was launched with the OGP Handbook, completing a draft Action Plan focusing on transparency reforms.
Impact: It will engage thousands, enhancing trust and participation, with plans to refine service delivery across the LGA. Community
