Kaduna State is marking one year of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system launched by His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON to improve urban mobility and ease transportation challenges for residents across the state.

Since its introduction, the people-centred initiative has helped make daily commuting faster, safer, more affordable, and more convenient for thousands of residents. The BRT system has contributed to reduced travel times, eased transportation burdens, and supported a more efficient urban transportation system.

The milestone highlights the impact of strategic investments in public transportation and the importance of people-focused policies that directly improve the daily lives of citizens. By providing a more accessible and organized transportation option, the BRT system continues to support mobility, economic activity, and improved quality of life across Kaduna State.

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, expressed appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for the initiative and reaffirmed the Local Government’s commitment to supporting programmes that prioritize the welfare of residents.
