The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has met with the leadership of CoLab, the first IT Hub in Northern Nigeria based in Kaduna South, and Greysoft-GreyHobb to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in technology, innovation, youth development, and digital transformation.

The meeting provided an opportunity to recognize the remarkable contributions of both organisations to the growth of the technology ecosystem in Kaduna South. Through their work in AgriTech, technology development, innovation, and youth empowerment, the organisations are creating opportunities for young people and demonstrating the potential of Kaduna South as a hub for technology and innovation.

Discussions focused on how the Local Government can support the growth of the technology sector and establish deeper partnerships to accelerate the implementation of the Kaduna South Digital Transformation Roadmap. The proposed collaboration is expected to support innovation, expand opportunities for young people, and strengthen the Local Government’s efforts to build a more digitally connected and technologically driven community.

The Executive Chairman noted that the progress being recorded by technology innovators in Kaduna South aligns with the vision of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON and the SUSTAIN Agenda, particularly its focus on digital transformation, youth empowerment, innovation, and economic development.

Kaduna South Local Government remains committed to strengthening partnerships with technology companies, innovation hubs, and other stakeholders to accelerate its digital transformation roadmap, expand opportunities for young people, and position the Local Government as a leading centre for technology and innovation in Kaduna State and Northern Nigeria.
