Kaduna Local Government Chairmen Review May 2026 Allocations at JAAC Meeting

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, joined the Chairmen of the 23 Local Government Councils in Kaduna State at the Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) meeting for May 2026.
The meeting, chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, focused on reviewing allocations from the Federation Account and strengthening fiscal coordination among the Local Government Councils.
Deliberations also centred on improving transparency, accountability, and the effective management of public resources to support quality service delivery across the state. The participants emphasized the need for available resources to be prudently managed and directed towards impactful programmes that improve the lives of citizens and accelerate grassroots development.
The Executive Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of Kaduna South Local Government to responsible financial management and the efficient utilization of public resources in the implementation of development programmes.

The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and accountability in local government administration across Kaduna State, in line with the development objectives of the SUSTAIN Agenda of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON.
