Kaduna South, KASU Explore Partnership on Healthcare and Youth Empowerment

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, to explore opportunities for collaboration between the Local Government and the institution.
Discussions focused on strengthening nutrition interventions, improving healthcare service delivery, expanding opportunities for graduates of tertiary institutions within Kaduna South, and promoting skills acquisition programmes to empower young people and contribute to local economic growth.
During the meeting, Hon. Rayyan Hussain briefed the Vice Chancellor on the various nutrition, healthcare, youth development, and educational support initiatives being implemented across Kaduna South. He explained that the administration is focused on developing practical interventions that improve the wellbeing of residents while creating opportunities for young people to acquire relevant skills and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa expressed delight at the transformative initiatives being implemented at the grassroots level and assured the Local Government of Kaduna State University’s readiness to partner with Kaduna South in advancing sustainable development and supporting the progress of Kaduna State.
