The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, has held a strategic meeting with the Kaduna South Local Government Open Government Partnership (OGP) Steering Committee to review progress on the Local Government’s 2026 First Quarter OGP commitments and activities.

The meeting assessed the progress recorded since the implementation of the commitments commenced this year, with discussions focused on key achievements, emerging challenges, ongoing initiatives, and opportunities to further strengthen the Kaduna South OGP framework. The committee also finalized plans and enhanced coordination ahead of Kaduna South OGP Week 2026, with emphasis on community engagement strategies designed to deepen transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance.

During the meeting, the Chairman highlighted the significant strides recorded by the administration and unveiled action plans for the next quarter. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening efforts to ensure quality, accessible, and people-centred healthcare service delivery for all residents of Kaduna South Local Government.

The progress recorded under the Kaduna South OGP framework is being advanced within the broader vision of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON, whose people-centred SUSTAIN Agenda continues to provide the enabling environment for inclusive governance, improved public services, and sustainable grassroots development across Kaduna State.
