Kaduna South Local Government has received global recognition for its deliberate efforts to improve healthcare access and service delivery across its communities. The recognition came through a recent publication by SDG Local Action, which highlighted the Local Government’s interventions in community-based healthcare delivery.
The recognition reflects the administration’s commitment to developing practical, people-centred solutions that bring quality healthcare closer to residents. Through deliberate interventions and strategic improvements in primary healthcare delivery, Kaduna South continues to demonstrate how local governments can play a transformative role in advancing sustainable development and improving the lives of citizens.
The achievement is also a reflection of the enabling environment created by His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON through the SUSTAIN Agenda. The Kaduna South Local Government administration, under the leadership of The Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA, continues to vigorously implement initiatives aligned with the Governor’s vision for inclusive development, improved public services, and a better quality of life for the people.
“This recognition is a source of great joy and pride for us, but it is also a reminder that there is still more work to do. We will continue to pursue greater milestones, strengthen healthcare delivery, and ensure that Kaduna South Local Government remains a model of people-centred development and innovation on the global stage.” — Hon. Rayyan Hussain MPSCM FICA
The administration remains committed to building on this achievement and delivering even greater progress for the people of Kaduna South, while contributing to the broader development objectives of Kaduna State and the SUSTAIN Agenda of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani CON.
